The Faculty of Medicine

The Faculty of Medicine was established in 1995. Certified medics have been trained by means of the educational programs, complying with international standards. Qualified professionals have been involved in the academic process: 9 full professors, 48 associate professors, and 12 assistenr professors. The Faculty has the student research sector. Academics of the Faculty actively cooperate with leading medical schools and research institutes of Germany, Ukraine, Baltic countries, and Russia.
Except Georgia, graduates of the Faculty of Medicine have been employed at various medical centers in Ukraine, Israel, and Russia.
Alongside with the course of theoretical and practice classes (pre-clinical cycle), students of the Faculty of Medicine take the practical training of the clinical cycle at the multi-sectoral basic clinics, equipped with sophisticated technologies.
