The Faculty of Social Science
The Faculty of Social Sciences was established in 2006, as a result of the amalgamation of the former Faculties of History, of Law, and of Economics. It also includes the specialties of journalism and international relations. Besides the departments, the Faculty includes the Research Center for the Study of the History and Culture of Kutaisi and Its Region, and the Educational and research Center for International Relations.
Presently, the Faculty of Social Sciences is one of the largest faculties in the University.
The Faculty employs 11 full professors, 54 associate professors, and 13 assistant professors.
